Hey Waxman, at least you got to scratch it, and not somebody else! :) LOL

Oh- boy that's for sure if someone else did that I would be seeing red not orange and fit to be tied. But since I did it ON MY NEIGHBOR'S DRIVEWAY I'm only a little pissed.

Thats not damage, it's just wear and minor at that. Clean it up and repaint it when it bothers you too much.

Sincerely, Dirt

I know you're right., but remember that is only after 2 hours use, I have since learned to live with it. I'm not not really pissed at all. No different then the buckets on the backhoe or the loader. I want to use my tractor.

Darn, that looks really bad, but if you reverse the blade, the scratches will be upside down, and that does not count for the first year.

Paint on snowplow, what's that? Got my Fisher 8' shined up like a mirror, just spray a little WD-40 on it after use to keep the rust off and the snow slides right off!

That will not keep that cement block/large stone from rolling over and over hidden the snow.

Sorry guys, new to this but had to chime in. That description of the first use was great. I'm glad not to be the only one who feels that way running new equipment. LIFE IS GOOD

ok, boys,
were i to have one of those fancy new (virginal) 2763A hd blades, what should i hypothetically wax it with? i haven't had a chance to search for the gathered experience . . . am in the process of making a dolly for the aforementioned blade . . . i hadn't thought about waxing it . . . until now.
i must say , it makes a bit of sense. thanks for turning on the good idea lightbulb! shrekbelly

Waxman,

Have it stripped to bare metal and primed with Corlar 2.1PR and color coated with Imron 3.5HG. You will have to get a custom mix color to match the 'bota.

Those paints are industrial coatings and tough as nails. I use them on my backhoe bucket and after 100 hours of sand and rock it is still nearly all paint! To DIY, you need a supplied air respirator, so if you don't have that ($500+) have a pro-shop do it.

Hint: have them over-reduce the primer to get a smooth coat, but they will need to do 1 tack coat and 3 medium cover coats. If you don't do that, the finish will have a "hammered" look, if you know what that means.
