Hi Guys new to this site a proud new B2620 owner. But Waxman those scratches are terrible. I am sure they will affect the structural integrity of the plow. Basically I think you ruined it. But being the nice guy I am I will take it off your hands for you, say $50 is a fair price for the metal..... No ok I thought so, Just thought I'd ask :D It sounds like you have a nice set up with the cab and the monitor. I can't have a cab:( my garage door will not even allow my ROPS to be in the full up position. The scratches look good!!

Waxman,

I use my plow for snow only and mosty on blacktop. There is just a bit of gravel I clean off for the mailman on the road shoulder. I have a rubber edge on mine. Maybe that keeps it from picking up stuff that scratches. I don't know.

Waxman,

Have it stripped to bare metal and primed with Corlar 2.1PR and color coated with Imron 3.5HG. You will have to get a custom mix color to match the 'bota.

Those paints are industrial coatings and tough as nails.

The Corlar/Imron is amazing. I have my airplane painted with that and it never even needs wax. Not cheap however.

Us low snow states don't totally appreciate the snow removal aspects of our machines. We read of our northern neighbors adventures and envy or grin as we read. I lived in Montana for a couple of years and loved the snow which was dry and packed well and was OK to drive on. In Ky it's just slick. I moved to N Dakota for a year and the snow there just blowed back and forth all winter unless it hit your stopped car and then it piled up on the entire side of the car covering it. Do not miss those days. I was driving down the highway in N Dakota when I first got there in Dec with temp -43 degrees. Saw these snow fingers all over the right lane so I drove in left lane. Thought it would be funny to drive through one of those snow fingers doing about 65 mph and watch the snow blow all over the place. Found out why other people didn't drive through them. It reduced my speed from 65 mph to about 3 mph in about 10feet! Needless to say I never did that again. Ask your dealer if they don't make a thin disposable blade cover to cover your blade with when you use it. :)

kubotafan-very interesting!Hadn't thought about that.Do you have the outside air/recirculate air lever on outside or recirc??I've not tried that as I thought that the AC might not work at colder temps.I'll check it out tommorow.I'm usually running on recirculate to get the temp up faster, knowing full about the humidity problem.Happy New Year!
