Diggin' up an old one here.

Bird - what's the verdict - it's been 2 years...

Wife & I are "in the market" for a new bed. As I approach the big 3-0, Our $200 college apartment special just ain't cuttin' it anymore. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't know how I missed out on this one as it was started around the time we got our Select Comfort. We have the dual wired digital remotes. My wife has back problems and she wanted the mattress, I could not have cared less. I can sleep on anything! Not anymore I can't! I hate to admit it, but it was worth the money. We are in a "house sitting" arrangement right now and when we took the house it had a super soft king size mattress in the master BR. We tried it for about a week before we pulled the Select Comfort out. It felt great to lay on that soft mattress but when I would try to get up in the morning I was sore. I can tell a difference when I sleep on a regular mattress. I completely endorse this mattress.

I am Tractors4u and I approve this message.

We have one of the air beds and the wife loves it. me I can care less. I can sleep on a slab... Had it 3 yrs... Though I would still rather have my Califoria King Water Bed if I had to make a choice... But ya know what ever makes her happy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Stephen, sorry to be late answering, but we've been out of town for a week at my wife's family get together for her mother's 97th birthday in West Virginia; just got back about 3 hours ago. And yep, it'll be good to get back to my Select Comfort mattress after the ones we've been sleeping on in motels the last 6 nights. We have the queen sized model 5000 with the dual wired remotes and wouldn't want anything else.

I was a little worried, since it took you days instead of hours to respond. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Thanks for the info.

97 wow - that's more than 3 times my birthday...

We got the King-size Tempur-Pedic about 4 years ago. Worth every penny. Look around since retail pricing is a joke.
