That is up in the air right now. Most likely we are going with rough cut wood with battens then sealing the wood for a natural look but I might stain it red. Barns are red for a reason, right?

yes, it was the least expensive & longest lasting made out of a lot of materials from iron oxide to berries... The iron oxide has very good UV protection so last many many years and protects (on top of bugs not liking it)
