Chains on front always works great for me. I get steering and engine weight on the chained wheels. All vehicles around here with front driving wheels will get the chains in front. Better would be all 4. I suppose it may matter that chains are used only when 4wd isn't enough, for slow speed work, and taken off as soon as possible.
I have had these bridgestone dueler A/t tires with revo for long enough to really like them in mud and snow. Nice and quiet too.
