ok, i plan on using a 7.5 or 8 ft fisher, with the QA plate. my thoughts were to fab it up with a chain set up so it floats on the ground like a truck. do you have any issues using the float feature on the loader or would you prefer with a chain set up? i will start a new post about the casters. thanks

I picked up a 9' Western plow in pretty rough shape for $150 that I am working on now.
Added a QA plate to mount on the tractor.

im confused by needing chains to float. If your using QA plate, the loader in float will allow the blade to float. The springs on the blade will allow safety flex??

i used the float feature with the bucket moving snow and dirt and it seems like i loose some steering control, a chain float like a truck would seem to be better, i haven't started my fab process yet, still deciding which way to go. im using my large dump with 12 ft blade for now. i started another post on caster wheels for plows, not much response yet.
