Yikes! Could you make the zone map a little smaller? This is how it looks in my browser (Firefox). BTW: The zone map looks like it was drawn by a 3 year old.

Push "control" "-" I can make it look that way on my browser too by zooming to the max. :)

When designing a web site, set your own video resolution to 640x480. You should be able to get everything on single pages without scrolling, or anything that you have to scroll for should be limited.

Ken - that zone map should not be the first thing a person sees when they visit your site... Your products should be. The first time I opened your site, I had no idea what kind of web site I was looking at or "why I was there".

The Website site below in our signature takes the place of the 15 yr old site that you may be familiar with. On this new E-Commerce site, we have the Lower 48 divided into 4 Zones and Store Pickup. All you need to do is pick your shipping zone from the map and then click on that Zone in the menu on the left side of the screen. All new and used equipment will be priced in the categories in the Zone specifically for you. Shipping is priced into all products shipped to your or your Friends Downtown Commercial Business address or Picked up at a Truck Terminal Near you. To determine where the truck terminals are in your area, simply click on "Terminal Locations" and we will answer that question for you. If you need Farm/Residential Delivery, just click the Extra Truck Services you may need listed in with each implement's page.
We have checked and we are confident that we can be competitive with any Ag Implement E-Commerce website on the web. Please be patient with us as we continue to add 100-150 more products to the site.
Greg and Myself appreciate any feedback that you may have. Thanks to all of you guys for 35 years of continued support. May God Bless You. Ken Sweet

A handy feature would be to be able to put in your zip code and have the freight terminals of the companies you use show up for that local area.
I have to travel over an hour to get to several terminals and would be handy to find out if it could be shipped to a closer one and list it as an advisory in the check out. BE able to do this with out going thru the check out and before you place your cart order.

Just my :2cents: worth. I have enjoyed looking at your old site and brousing the ebay store to see what you have going on

If you'll look closely at the screenshot I provided, you'll see that it's not zoomed. Look at the blue border surrounding everything except the zone map image. That's the way the website appeared upon my first visit.

Besides, as mentioned by another poster, a zone map is not exactly the first thing a potential customer should see when they visit a company website. Products should be first and foremost, with a zone map being relegated to being seen during the pricing/ordering process. The way it's presented creates a very amateur feel which doesn't make a good first impression. I do this for a living and I know what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to be harsh or mean and only want to present an honest assessment based on my professional opinion.

Ken, look at the round baler/rake prices and you'll see a mistake on the figures. Most of those are :Our Price: $1,234,567.00. Other than that you have really made the web site much better.

There are a few bigger items that can be picked up at the store or shipped to Zone 1 and 2. Zones 3 and 4 usually are too far away and gets too expensive shipping with a "hot shot" hauler. That is why I put a price in that prohibits buying those bigger items until we get to talk to the customer. The actual bottom dollar of those items are only listed in "Store Pickup". The software will not let me put CALL into the price block. Thanks, Ken Sweet

I agree 100% on the map being to big. I did that for a "shock" factor to emphasis that this site has a prerequisite that you have to know your zone before you shop. After most visitors are aware that they can only shop in their specific Zone, I will make it quite smaller and move it to the bottom of the page and move the machinery to the top. Just bear with me. All suggestions and tips are very appreciated. Ken Sweet

Tom, I appreciate your comments. Actually, if I used a automated terminal finder for 1 carrier, the customer will pay substantially more in shipping costs and also not have terminal city choices. Just for kicks, If you will click on "Terminal Locations" in the left menu, we will actually send you 2 or 3 of the least expensive Truck terminals shipping to your zip. This is the most difficult way for us to get you the shipping possibilities, however, this way, saves you the most money and keeps us the most competitive on the net. Ken Sweet

Instead of trying to make the price "Call", why not publish the MSRP and add a CALL FOR LOCAL PICKUP PRICING or something in the product description. As a consumer, I immediately close the site if I see "CALL FOR PRICING" instead of a price... There are too many vendors that are willing to show me a price - even if it's too high.
