Loader weak

One issue here is that it is difficult to quantify exactly how much a bucket full or heaping bucket of gravel weighs. If you had something like a couple of 55 gallon drums filled with water you could measure your net lift capacity. I just don't have a good feel for how much gravel you are trying to lift. If you do have some sort of water container that fits in the bucket securely you should be able to measure as water =8lbs/gallon so a full 55gal drum is about 440lbs plus the barrel so maybe 500 lbs total. Remember that your loader is rated at pivot pins so I'd imagine you could expect to lift two full barrels at least a foot or two off the ground and you should certainly be able to lift one to full height (make sure it is secure and cannot accidentally curl over the top onto your tractor).

Maybe one of the dealers has a better practical way of measuring loader strength.

not being a smart a but why should i trouble shoot there problems, other tractors with lower hp and aftermarket loaders do the same thing with as big or bigger buckets... with no problem ..just very disapointing after spending what i spent there at the dealer... i just bought a new tractor to make sure i wouldnt gain someone elses problems..

I appreciate and understand your frustration. Sounds like you need to work with your dealer or possibly Kioti to sort out what to do next. Again, it is tough to understand exactly what is going on based on what you've posted.

I can however assure you that the KL130 is a fine loader. Here are a couple of photos of the little brother to your loader, the KL120 which I had set up with a Horst QA adapter that weighed at least 100lbs, probably 120lbs, and outboard of that is a 300lb grapple with it's load. No problems doing this sort of work which is likely a heavier load than a bucket full of gravel. My loader easily lifted the loaded rear tires off the ground too.

Bullit20 not sure what youæ±*e looking for, this forum is a help group made up of strangers to each other mostly, who have a huge amount of experience as a group, and we offer opinions, and sound advice mostly. Unless you are an expert, and your dealer knows the tractor in and out or has a similar one to compare with, if you don稚 test it how do you know weak it really is or not, the more info you can supply dealer with, the better chances he has to get it figured out for you. We can all tell youæ±*e frustrated, but many things could be at fault here, a bad quick couple maybe restricted flow or crap in one of the lines, but I would think this would also make it slow to respond as well, but could be wrong. Hope you get it to the dealer sooner than later, with mine I have noticed a little more power as I have gotten closer to the 50 hour break in, can lift stumps that I could not earlier. What has you dealer said? Hope you get it resolved.

islander i have looked at your photos before and was impressed at it, its not only my macine but a co worker bought a ck35 and is having the same problems, mine now has 68hrs so its had lil time hopefully, ... when i push into a pile of gravel or dirt[topsoil] and try to curl a full bucket or lift you can hear the relief valve kicking in it seems and nothing happens almost like the lines are unhooked. as for lifting the back tires not yet... usually work 6 days a week 12-14hours so i have not had time to get it to the dealer, which says he will check the pressure and bump it to the safe limit , why it wasnt checked?? i dunno?> ive seen other photos of the kl120 loaders and dare should i dump mine in the recycle bin and buy a kl120??? lol they are impressive... hopefully ill get to run it over friday since i am working till friday noon, if nothing comes up thanks guys

I think you do have problem somewhere because my KL130 has plenty of lift. However, with my loaded tires, it has never been able to lift the rear of the tractor off the ground. It will hit the relief first. So, you have to careful comparing the KL120 to the KL130 because the bigger tractor is way heavier.

Agree. However, my KL120 could raise the loaded rear tires plus a bush hog. I'd have thought the KL130 should be able to lift rear wheels at least without any external ballast even if rears were loaded.

Can anyone with a CK25 - CK35 report being able to lift the rear of their tractor with the loader, with or without loaded tires? Just interested to see if any have/can.

I've only managed to slightly and momentarily lift my rears with no rear attachment by "bouncing" a very heavy bucket load (wet clay and granite stone way out on the toothbar) while facing down a steep incline. There's never been any indication the rear is getting light when "prying" with the loader. Always hits relief first. I do believe the loader is getting every bit of the specs in terms of lift. Breakout is very hard to gauge, but it's obviouslly less than the moment imparted by the tractor weight/ballast, which has to be way over 3000 lbs if the front axle is the pivot point lifting from just in front of center. That would be really sweet if it did lift the rears. Would have to then be very careful about what I lifted.:D

Sure sounds to be something wrong with the OP's loader that's not normal.

I have snagged roots etc when digging and lifted the back of my CK30 off the ground a few times. If both you and a co-worker have had this as an issue I would ask did you both get it from the same dealership? If so maybe they aren't doing the set up right?

Loaded R4's on my CK35, I can't lift the rear tires off the ground.
