Contact your local Cooperative Extension office. They can help you id the weeds and come up with the proper legal control.

County gave me CrossBow concentrate for killing multi-flora rose. Works well on all vines and woody plants. Doesn't hurt grass. Only problem is that just a few drops will kill a large hardwood tree - has to be used carefully. Pretty good in fence rows. It's a little expensive if you have to pay full price, but so is Roundup.

Hi

I used salt around my garage to keep anything from growing close by. It lasted a long time. There weren't desirable plants nearby, so it couldn't hurt anything. You can buy it cheaply for water softeners.

Nice suggestion. I'll might try that myself along fences. I don't want to overuse the roundup as glyphosate resistance is already becoming a world wide problem. Too many farmers apparently use it alone too much on fence lines.

Here in Ohio they use Salt for Snow and Ice in the Winter.
It seems that it helps the Grouth of new grass all along the roads ???
