Down here the county agent puts on a class and preps you for the test. 1 day - class and test. It rocked - was long, but a 5 yr license out of it.

I'm exactly sure how it is done locally but I will find out next week. I was told that the local Coop can help you prep for it but I'm not holding my breathe. Hopefully the extension office will do that.

On the topic of the weed wiper, I assume you are using a tractor mounted model? What size are you using? As far as 12 volt power, what did you use for your source?

I use the accessory bus on my 5525, First started using the cig lighter port, but I put the optional expansion port

Seriously thinking about a 6ft model. I think 10ft. would be a bit cumbersome for some of my smaller paddocks. An 8ft. would be nice but I don't know if a custom built is more expensive. A bit torn to be honest but 10ft. might just be worth it in the long run as we expand into more land.

Why not make your own I'm in the process of making one at the moment it's a 8' carpet roller type I just had to buy the tank pump and carpet the rest is made from bits and pieces I had around the yard here's here is a give you a better idea this is just the solid works image

Depending on what you are targeting, their might be a good herbicide to kill it. My problems are getting so much better, I might sell my grassworks unit in the next year or so.
