Tractor
B2920 TLB turfs and loaded ags
I am going to purchase a car hauler or utility trailer when I can find the right deal. Kubota.com shows the tractor at 1390 without loader or backhoe. I think I read that the BH65 weighs 1400 lbs so I would guess the whole deal would be around 3000 lbs or maybe 3500 if the loaded tires are on it. Does this sound right? anyone know for sure?

The b2320 comes in around 3000 lbs with the fel and bh on. So i would assume yours will be slighty more due to the bigger engine. I am also trying to find a trailer for the same weight

I have that combo and while I'm not sure, I don't think the BH weighs quite that much. I was able to lift mine and unload it from the trailer with the FEL which is limited to about 950# or so. I admit, this may be faulty reasoning. Regardless, your weight guess can't be that far off and using it won't be a bad thing. I am interested in the BH weight if anyone knows........

Hey guys 1400#s for the bh65 seems heavy to me, I find it hard to believe that it weighs as much as the tractor itself. But I also did find some info on it. If you click the link below and then click the SPECS tab you will see that the weight is 1400lbs. Since i do not have a set of scales i will have to believe what i read.

Products: BH65 Kubota Canada Ltd.

it seems very high to me as well. Maybe the one in canada is different and the operator platform is part of the BH. I dont think one of these loaders will lift close to 1400 lbs. A BT 601 from the BX24 is listed at 600lbs shipping weight. The bh65 doesnt seem like more than 2x the weight but I really dont know.

I guess my B2620 to be at about 3500lbs with Fel and BH on. I don't know if I ever found a weight for the BH, but I was thinking it was around 750 to 800 lbs. 1400lbs seems way too much. I can tell you my 16' 7000lb tandem axle trailer seems to haul the tractor, FEL, BH and MMM all together with no problem.

Wow - I'm amazed that machine is so light. Loaders weigh a lot. My loader, backhoe, and subframe mount easily add 3000 pounds to my machine. I think 3500 is a conservative estimate for your machine, not including loaded tires. That being said, I don't think any car-hauler / equipment trailer is rated at less then ~5000 pounds, so you should be all set with just about anything. Trailer capacities are rated fairly conservatively too.

According to the manuals, which I guess could be wrong, says :

Tractor w/rops = 1554 lbs
364 FEL net weight approx. = 459 lbs
364 50" square bucket = 150 lbs
MMM RCK60-29B approx. = 321.8 lbs

= 2484.8 lbs without BH65 but including MMM.

For some reason the BH65 manual does not list a weight for the BH

Putting the BH at 700-800lbs brings the total to 3284.8 lbs. even if the BH weighs 1400 lbs(maybe with the subframe), that would put it the total at 3884.8 lbs.

Maybe some of the weights don't include the mounting frames, but if you take the 321.8 lb MMM off the list and let it make up for the extra mounting pieces you are still close to the same weight. I don't have loaded tires, but don't know if the tractor weight is with R4s or turfs. Shurely the R4s weigh more.

Maybe 3500 lbs is conservative, maybe I should use 4000 lbs to be on the safe side.

Some day I will get it on a scale and see, but I am not holding my breath for that one.

This is the problem with spec data published by tractor makers. You
have to do some serious digging to find some very basic info, like weight,
and you STILL may not find it.

I looked at the Canadian Kubota site, where the 1400# number is published,
and I see they quote the exact same number for the bigger hoe, the BH76.
The Kubota.com site has no weights for the hoes listed at all.

My estimate, based on looking closely at the BH65, is it weighs around
700#. I compared it to other hoes of the same size and known weight.

In the bigger picture, when looking at specs, I always look for weights, as
well as hydraulic implement pump pressure and flow. All are hard to find.
(The B2920's is 4.7GPM at 2000psi, BTW.)
