Holy cow on the branches. We visited one of our kids in Stillwater the day after that ice storm. We were there for a week and saw no one removing branches except to push them off the sidewalks. I know it was widespread damage, as we saw it in OKC and Tulsa as well. What's the holdup reasoning? Pandemic labor issues, lack of funds? Just curious, as whenever we have widespread damage like that, it's usually gone in a couple weeks.

Our snowfall yesterday after the coating of ice made a very similar scene. Not much accumulation in total. A nice coating everywhere. It's just started to fall off the branches as the temps are 34 now. I'm letting it melt the cars off instead of scraping. :)

I don't know for sure, but I think it's a combination of such a momentous amount of debris, weather, holidays and perhaps lack of equipment and resources...and we were particularly hit hard in this area. I see huge truck loads every day, and all around us, but they haven't gotten to us yet. I still have a lot of tree work to do yet, so it's a good thing they are going to make two passes at the pickup.

I wish I understood Humidity. IMG_20210103_095100.jpg
How can it be so cold outside and the humidity still be so high?

Our battle is with our Trail Cams icing up this winter. 0F or below, no problems. 0-32F frosting up constantly.
