The fan was high on the pain scale getting it on. It's just really heavy and my forearms started cramping out on me while holding it up and trying to get the bolts started. Twice I had to rest until I got it. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
The shroud needed fixing too, but I needed the fan in place to do that. There are three brackets to hold it in place. Two were busted.
There are two thermostats. The bolts that hold the housing down are to corroded to work, so that's stoped me from getting that on.
Case supplied me with a replacement tube for what's called a vent for the water lines. It's a small copper tube that goes from the block to the thermostat houseing. I broke the old one taking it off. The new one has two female ends. I need a male and a female. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
So I filed down the exhause manifold for a good seal. I should have done this earlier, but it's one of those things that I like to procrastinate on.
I need to get some parts on Tuesday, so tomorrow will be a short day and then maybe some goofing off.
