Welding Foot Pegs on Dirt Bike

Just a thought,but if it were me I would consider modifying the new wider peg to fit the original factory frame mount, thus keeping your restoration reversible to original if you chose to..(depending on the peg material of course)

That's a pretty good idea. Especially if you might have any thoughts of putting it in a vintage show. Some of those folks get real critical.

Mine had .030" wire, maybe that's my problem. I'll have to try .024" wire.

Good point, when I get the foot pegs Ill have to see if I can modify the existing brackets to fit the new pegs.
