One thing i was wondering if anyone has a hobart mig 175? I can weld pretty good on most things but alot of times i get a lot of weld splatter.. I've tried the normal turning down but on heavy guage stuff seems like you'd need level power level 3-4 and some higher line feed rates ?? maybe too fast/slow wrong angle? but i was wondering what the best practice for welding 2 pieces of flat together 1/4-3/8 steel? I usualy use the zig zag motion.. thanks..
