Dave ... careful on pouring the bleach down that well. There's lots a stuff down there that will eat bacteria. That bleach will kill everything along those lines.
Did you notice any sulphur content (usually the nose knows)?
If this is only for trees, it's moot. Might be a good idea to have the water sent out for analysis anyway should this acquifer be used to keep you and your family alive later on.
Great job. I recently blew a pump and it cost me 1700 yu ess dollars to have it replaced.
