Hopefully. If not, I believe the manufacturer is Walvoil, and the valves are available separately. Someone here added a valve to the middle of the stack to run a thumb.
FYI, when I pulled this manifold off to change the spool on Saturday, this particualr brand/model of valve is a solid unit. NOT a sandwich style valve on this unit. So it was prolly a different style valve on that other person's unit. B

I am surprised that they sent you a spool.
It seems like most valves built today are selectively factory built with the spool and body fitted at the factory and no replacements sold.

That's getting to be more the norm. Why should manufacturers sell service parts when they can force you to buy an entire unit. My dealer is trying to arrange a transport to their shop to replace the entire valve. They told me the tolerances on those spools is VERY tight and they were not surprised it would not fit. B.

I'm not sure of the reasoning for the lack of parts.
It seems to me that it could be several reasons,
Building the body's and spools to tolerances that would allow spare parts would likely require higher quality tooling then is required for the current production methods,
Also the pressure in todays system is much higher then it was 10, 20 and 30 years ago, I can recall hydraulic systems with 800 PSI max pressure,
then it went up to 1200 PSI and progressively higher, now 2500 PSI and upwards of 3500 PSI as normal operating pressures, with the lower pressures o-rings could handle larger gaps then they can when the higher pressures, now we are seeing Teflon backup rings along with harder and smaller o-rings to handle the pressure.
I don't know if they are sitting with a box of bodies and a box of spools and selectivly assembling them possibly honing the body to accept the spool?? No idea.
To the best of my knowledge most of the valves now are made overseas, many it seems from Turkey.

Well, I got the new valve Wednesday and installed it on Thursday. Shipped the bad one back to my dealer on Friday. Took it for a test drive today. All is well. Back up and running. B.
