Don't tarp a tractor, at least with a plastic tarp... It builds humidity, helps electronics fail and metal to rust...

What metal...he's got a BX24...:D :D
How true...I'm more worried about the plastic rotting off of it then the metal getting rusted. I'm working on a permanent dry home for the darn thing, but we just built the house last year, and my stuff has to wait until I get the wife happy with everything else.

My wife doesn't like the plans for a 40 x 60 garuage since it would be bigger than our house. I keep telling her that it won't cost near as much to build it as our house did, it'll just cost more to fill it up. :) So for now the Tractor will have to live under the deck.

I usually end up running the darn thing about everyday even for little chores, so for the most part the water shouldn't be an issue.

BTW, I hooked up the battery and all was working fine, at least for now, but I am sure that will change later.

You can get some tarps that "breath" made of the same type material tyvek house wrap is made of, works great. I agree though, you should not have to cover this thing up at all. Only thing that should happen by sitting outside is have the paint fade and even THAT should not happen. My Acura has sat outside since 1992 and still shines, so should a machine that is suppose to last for decades!!!!
