I honestly like the new format.

Thing is, change for whatever reason is hard when you're so use to something else.

I absolutly love the layout of the "new" forum on my phone.

I do not like that you took away the "my home" button.

That was the first place I always went.....to get caught up on any new posts in threads I was already a part of.

Now it seems a two step process rather than the button right at the top.

I'll figure out if we can add it back as a one click feature. Later today I'll make another round of tweaks.

If Muhammed would rename the "Watched" button to "My Home", I'm sure peace would arise again. 😀

The only constant in life is change. If you are not changing you are dead. And even in death something is changing..lol

Will post a longer how-to when I have some free time but for now...

"Today's Posts" or "New Posts" (unread) will give you the latest posts, just like the old forum. The links are in the same place.

"Jump to new" will take you to the newest unread post in a thread.

My methodology is that I always go to the forums that I like, look to see which threads have new posts, and go from there. Now, I do that and there is no way to tell if there is a new post, and when I click on the thread, it takes me to the very first post. There is no "Jump to new" on my screen, only "mark as read".

This particular forum no longer shows on my screen anywhere; I had to click the "bell" icon to find it. I really like this website, and spend a lot time here but I can't seem to negotiate it any more. It is a shadow of its former self. it's about Spring, so I guess I can spend some time doing woodworking and yard work. I used to check out the TNT site occasionally, but I can't find it either.

*correction...I finally found the "News/Feedback" forum.

Maybe TNT finally died from the viral infection it's had since inception? :)

That's fine with me, in fact, I think it's more than appropriate, as long as I know one way or the other. I wouldn't be surprised if it would require a hazardous waste permit disposal in order to delete all that crap.

Basically everything got marked as unread during the move. You need to mark the forums as read and then the new posts will work the same as the old forum.

We will add a direct link to the watched page to make it easy.

How did you normally find the forum index? You can click on the logo to get there.

The TNT site is working for me. Only reason I go there is to check out Cowboy Ron's latest memes. I hate all the politics though.
