Howdy all,
fixed the well today. turns out it was the pressure tank, was very old and the bladder had ruptured. had two sources of rust, the well casing and the tank. replaced the tank (gee, is that how the water pressure is supposed to be /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif), and put a charcoal filter in instead of the rope filter. water's clean. also, my pressure switch is on the pump too.
thanks for all your input.
