sunspot,any update on your canopy?coobie
I took delivery late yesterday evening. I unboxed the contents. The brackets and bolt package where inside. One small ding on the side of the canopy but that's alright. i could fix it or leave it.
I was to tired to assemble it after a bunch of box blading work before the delivery. At first glance it would be best to have 2 people to place it in the roll-bar. I'll try to take some pictures of the contents tonight.

I would whole heartly suggest you get another person to help, my steel one is one heavy bugger.

Yep, I haven't installed one myself, but it looks like it ought to be an easy job if you have 4 hands and maybe pretty tough for only 2 hands.:D

Has anyone hit their head on their canopy while getting on or off the tractor?

Yep, I am the guy from Lacey's Spring, AL. I am a dealer for Wells Ag. I enjoy dealing with farmers and tractor owners all over the U.S. and a few times in Canada. Thankfully, I don't make too many mistakes on orders. I do everything I can to make it a good experience for the tractor owner. I had one mistake this month and that was with "coobie's" canopy, but we dealt with that problem very quickly. I also had 2 late orders. That's 3 out of 54 orders. That was no fault of Wells Ag.

Coobie, your a good customer. Thanks for your business!

Wells Ag has been good to work with and they do a good job.

As for me, we are working to improve and make things even better.

Since dealing wih these canopies I have not heard of anyone hitting their head on the canopy. I have had some to ask this question before.

I wish I had ordered the Wells Ag. After I priced out with shipping to Canada and UPS brokerage fees it was close to $700 so I decided to source a nice looking fibreglass one in Kubota orange. It is the one from tractorsunshade.com

At the end of the day that ended up costing me more! about $750 and I'm not perfectly happy with it. One of the holes didn't align right on one of the brackets... fixed that up. It continues to be a bugger to get level. I believe that the fibreglass itself wasn't cut right so despite me leveling the bars, once the canopy was placed on them it looked like junk. I've been adding shims and monkeying around and I'm finally somewhat satisfied with result.

I think that a steel one would have been much better.

I'm a little late into this thread. But I just have to say I'm happy with my canopy which I ordered from Darrell. Darrell answered all my email promptly (usually in less than an hour), even after I made the purchase.

One of the things I liked about the canopy is that I could easily attach a rear view mirror to it, so I don't have to turn around every time I go backwards.

I had no problems installing it by myself. It weighs (from memory) under 90 pounds, and you can slide it up on your ROPS and let the the ROPS support the weight.
