Hmmm, that Taurus 9mm is about $230 at Academy, eh? Is it good for concealed carry?

I oc and cc with this gun.. What's good for me may not be good for you..
There is no 1 gun that fits everyone..
Doesn't matter what brand ,or what caliber , as long as you carry..

The courts have ruled, that Police have no duty to protect you

I actually have a High Point 9mm somewhere in my gun safe. It was my brother in laws who passed away at 21 from Crohns. Anyways, I know it gave him problems from day one and I was present for a few misfires and jams. Probably a good decision to go with something else.

I carry a Glock. I am a civilian. Once I was not. I carried a Sig for years. Then was forced to carry a Glock. I built confidence in it. I know many people who carry on a daily basis and carry a Kahr. There is a fierce loyalty for them. My sister in law has one. I wouldn't have any problem carrying one for reliability, etc. I just didn't feel it fit my hand the way some of my other's do. I alternate between a Glock compact and a Springfield Armory XD-M full size. Neither of those fit me as well as my Sig 226 did but my new bride claimed that the first time it touched her hand.

Having owned all of the models you mentioned except the XD, and having shot several of them, and would certainly own one, I would just say, they are all good, and just find the one or ones :) that fit you the best and go with that. I bought the Sig 226 for myself, but the wife glommed on to it immediately, so I said "fine" then your Springfield 1911 is mine then. She agreed, and I customized the Springfield. See below.

You did good! a Kel Tec isn't even close to the same league as a Kahr.

Well made and very comfortable shooters.

And the 1911 is one of the best handguns ever made. Everyone who shoots mine loves it. I carry a full size iwb. Don't have to worry about the length of the barrel.

I cc the kahr cw9 on a daily basis. Have not had a problem with it. Of course, I should add that I'm currently carrying the cw9 instead of my kahr p380 because the 380 is back at kahr being repaired. Suffering a broken extractor with less than 400 rounds through a pistol has a way of raising doubts in ones mind about quality of product...and has gotten me thinking that my next purchase might be a wheel gun.

To me... it is feel that counts most. Grip, feel weight, and recoil. Looks count for sure but should really be a bonus. And we all have our opinion. Get your hands on and shoot as many as you can. Problem is one gun won't cover your 'needs'.
