Good deal. I agree with the others in regards to insurance discounts. In all probability the fire truck would have to be certified that it is functional, before your insurance company would approved a discounted premium. Just a thought. In any case you were at the "right place at the right time". :thumbsup:

Having the hose included is good. What about nozzles?
If the hose is cotton exterior, it has to be kept dry or it will mildew.
Don't forget, the lines and pumps have to be drained or kept from freezing in cold weather. We also kept a "water soluble oil" mixed in to reduce rusting.
Maybe you can start your own VFD if there is none close by.:laughing:

nice ride all that you need now is a few 50' lengths of hose a couple of good nozzles and you are set.
