I have to say that the King Kutter rotary cutter and tiller are the two best values of any attachments I have ever purchased. There are hundreds of testimonials on this site of good quality KK attachments. Nobody is saying they are the equivalent of the high-end stuff, just that they are great values most of the time.

I was looking for a king kutter middle buster and all they had was farm force. When I asked if they had a king kutter middle buster or could get one they said they weren't going to carry the brand anymore as they were filiing for bankruptsy, I assume in certain items only. It seemed fishy to me as a way to get you to buy their brand. I searched online and couldn't find anything on them filing. Has anyone else heard this also?

So I didn't buy the farm force.

Maybe you misunderstood and it was THAT TSC store that is going bankrupt...

"Maybe you misunderstood and it was THAT TSC store that is going bankrupt......"

Ya know, it's a shame that so many TSCs are such a disaster because the store could and should be singular in fulfilling a very real market out there today. If TSC would spend a little more time and money finding and employing people with some knowledge of their product and customer......if they'd just invest a little more in inventory........if they'd just care a little more about customer service responses..........one would certainly think they could be a phenomenoh.

All too often the employees are teenagers or neophytes who don't know the difference between a sleeve hitch and a nipple zirk who are just there to man a register. I've never yet met a "manager" while visiting a TSC. Years ago I tried to buy a KK cutter at a TSC and the "clerk" on duty acted entirely disinterested and clueless as to what I was trying to do so I gave up.

But, they seem to sell enough lawn mowers and odds-and-ends to stay in the business so there's nothing forcing them to change.........and I'm as guilty as anyone in that complicency.

Thats why I hate TSC When they first opened the store near me I was in there that night. A man was buying some flat link chain and They were trying to break it. The customer and the manager had no Idea how to break it. The little Manager woman got out a chain breaker off the wall. I told her shemight as well be P55ing in the ocean with that thing as it was for roller chain then I showed them how to break it by hand. Nowevery time Im in there I get asked questions or I get a job offer. Ive had **** getting a bar for my boomless sprayer at work. It got bent and the manual at TSC was missprinted as the boom number is marked as a grommit. as apposed to the boom. I gave up after depositing them 65 dollars for the boom and getting a grommit back. I finally got my cash back and built one.

I looked at it from northerntool problem was shipping was almost 90.00 for a little more I could get a larger 2 buster model from a farm supply local

I agree that the shipping would make it nearly impossible to buy and have the item shipped.

You might go to the KK website:

King Kutter Incorporated

And then click on Locate a Deater on the left hand side of the page at the bottom and check on the dealers in your area. Might luck out? In my area there are 7 dealers (two happen to be TSC stores).

We'll be getting another real soon, much closer. The store in Chichester opens later this month.

It does seem big. I thought they were open until I pulled in and saw the sign on the door. I think it said the 31st.
I'm still waiting for a scratch & dent sale on a hay elevator. All the used ones I've seen advertised appear to be gold plated. I'll be stopping at the one in Skowhegan later today.

Yep, I was there recently trying to buy some thread dope for hydraulic hoses and the rep told me they probably had it but I'd just have to keep looking as he didn't know where. I also watched in disbelief on another occassion when a customer asked a worker for help locating an item and he told him "sorry, I'm off the clock" and walked away.

Haven't been out that way in a while and didn't even know they were putting a store in there. I will keep my eyes open for a hay elevator. I am looking for a 3pt hitch potato digger if you see one let me know.
