Santa brought our kids and 5 year old boxer and new playmate (6 week old white boxer). No one in family knew it was coming nor asked for it other than my wife and I. My 9 year daughter cried and our 5 year old boxer is now acting very motherly:0)

I, myself am tired this morning from the first night of crying...from the puppy:0[

Thomas- The boxer we've had is named Ruby. My wife already had the name Pearl in mind for our next one. When she saw she was white, it was a done deal.

I must have been pretty good Because my GREAT wife got me an armrest kit,remote hyd. valve kit & tiltmeter for my TC40D and also a loggers helmet and radio earmuffs. We have no children yet so it's up to me to be the kid.The best gift from her I can't share on this forum due to the family nature of TBN

My favorite gift this year was a watch my father had repaired for me.
It was one of the first gifts my mother gave him when they were dating. As a kid I used to play with it because it was broken my parents did not mind.
When I opened it I recognized it right away and tears formed immediatly.
Iam very happy with this gift and very surprised because my father has seemed to lose all sentimental values since my mother passed away in 84.
I guess people can surprise you at any time.

Well shucks, I gotta .... and a .... specially got a big thanks from the son for his new hard-drive, games, and a big hug from the spouse for her new digi camera, and jewelry set. The son gave me some books and the spouse gave me a new Seiko watch to replace my ol' elgin, and a Norelco cordless to replace my Remington that got knocked off the shelf and broke(I wear a beard)! It wasn't the gifts that counted (as I would have gladly done without), as we all knew the major gift I had already received and cherished ... the love and support of my family this past year.
Family, togetherness, love, and support of each other are to be cherished much more than material goods!

Sunday - Get together with my relatives (wall-to-wall food)

Monday - Get together with her relatives (all-you-can-eat restaurant)

Tuesday - In-laws at our house for Christmas dinner (traditional feast)

Wednesday - Stray relative from Idaho drops in (takes us all out to dinner)
