Patrick....you asked about the importer in Hoquiam, Washington who also makes loaders. I don't have personal experience with him but I know he makes loaders and backhoes. He will sell direct. I know of a few dealers up here that use his products. Give Gorriila Tractor a call. There is also a Jinma dealer in Rochester Washington who buys from this guy. You can also call him direct. I heard his backhoes sell for about $2000. Hope this helps.

I guess I was blogging off the cuff. I was there a few weeks ago and saw the thing, but didn't ask them to start it. But, it's huge, and that air cooled engine must be loud as ****. Also, this tractor had nothing fancy, refined or shiny about it, no pretty hood, no name plate, no attempt to hide any part of the mechanics- just a big, raw machine meant to do one thing, not meant to impress you with glitz. I guess in Belarus they have better things to do than bother with any kind of marketing hype or fancy appearance. I should have made them start it, but I was just looking and not buying and didn't want to try their patience.

Come back in, we will start it for you! It's a noisy beast, but starts and runs great. We have several Yanmar trades in stock right now, even a YM240 USA model.

Part of the reason we pulled back from direct importing was that if a buyer wanted a late model tractor with power-steering, ROPS, and R4 tires...by the time we made all of that happen, we could nearly sell them a new Mahindra and give them a 5 year warranty, 0% financing, etc. The Yanmars are a great tractor and a good value, as long as you like them as they are. As soon as you start changing tires/rims, steering (older ones did not have PS normally), ROPS, then they just got pricey.
