Snow was wet and heavy.

Those bar tires are definitely more suited for snow than the turf masters that I have (hence the chains).

The panicked buying at the stores before the storm hit was the most amusing part. The shelves were bare. Looked like something from a zombie movie.

I live in (very) rural Kitsap County, across the sound from Seattle. I don't have any neighbor's houses within sight of where I live.

Crazy thing is, we have gotten another 8" since 1500, and still snowing.

So I guess I will be doing a little more plowing tomorrow morning.

This reminds me of living in Connecticut.

Not as much down here, couple more inches added so far.

We had 4” here in Vancouver. We were in Seattle Friday and nearly got caught up in the mess. Anyway. I put on the York rake and got ready to clean our mile long driveway. The wife came out. Asked me what I was up to and wondered if I would rather be snowed in. Letting the rain do my plowing today. And yes. The videos of the mad rush in the stores is quite true. Portland and snow is like la and rain. End of days sort of mentality.
