Speaking of that... anyone ever been to the shipwreck museum at Whitefish Point, MI? Good grief... they play The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald non-stop/continuous all day, every day, in all of the buildings! :confused2:

I mean, yes, it is a great song and yes it tells a story about a great tragedy... but all day over and over? :drool:

I enjoy most Christmas music with exceptions. Not before Thanksgiving preferable not until two weeks before the blessed event AND absolutely NO Rudolph:confused2:.

I have been known to turn around and leave a store for that after complaining to the manager. That included returning any purchases that I may have made. That is the greatest abomination ever foisted on the shopping public.

I am old enough to remember when the Christmas season didn't start until after Thanksgiving. Saw Christmas stuff out in stores around here a week before Halloween!
Don't want to hear Christmas music until December.

As a country boy it was a highlight to drive to my aunt and uncles for thanksgiving ... maybe, just maybe coming home thru the "big" town they may turn the x-mas lights on that night.

I'm not sure what it does to the workers there, but I bought a lot of fudge. I think there is something subliminal in that song that makes you buy fudge. We bought 4-5 pounds of it. :drool:
