I would have to say it is sounding like someone who does not speak english as a first language. You can tell because of the skipped words every so often or short abbreviations.

Coolhand, it is going to be difficult for people to help you effectively on this site if they are unable to understand your questions. Make your requests simple, to the point and clear. Let me ask you a few questions and in your response try to be as complete as possible with what you want to do.

What type of work do you need to do? Mowing? Tilling? Baling? Fencing? etc.

What type of land do you work on? Hilly, Wet, Flat, Dry, Rock, etc?


How many acres is your property?



I would also recommend if you cannot communicate through text as in this forum you may be better off starting with local tractor dealers as they will be able to clarify what you are exactly trying to say in person. Best of luck and be careful!

thank you tim in ia. i have no property, but have property to work. mostly need to move soil and cut lawn. can you give me what acre is? i tried to talk to ford dealer but were not helpful.

as to the original question about 2 wheels & 4 wheel drive, he COULD have meant dual tires on rear? (do those kind of machines have 4wd as an option?)

If you just have lawn [not big weeds or very difficult areas] a Zero Turn Radius mower, or Garden Tractor may work good. For even smaller areas a Lawn Tractor, a walk behind mower, or Rear Engine Rider may be the right tool.

Trying to understand the questions, I assume you have large enough areas or enough dirt to be moved that you need something larger with a Front End Loader or a BackHoe.

How much area? How much dirt to be moved?
