Mounted a remote controlled search light in place of one of the cab lights Works really well and no wiring to install turns on and off with remote control. See link http://www.golight.com/

On my l3400 I have the foldable ROPS. There are two factory mounted nuts welded onto the lower portion of the ROPS. I checked the size and went to walleyworld and bought a set of BLazer 55 w halogen driving lights. using a standard switch i mounted them today and ran all of the wire in loom and it looks very professional. i also mounted another 55w light facing the rear on the fender. at night I dont plan on running the factory lights because they aint worth nothing with a fel. i can try and get pics later

KennyD, I'm actually KennyA. I know I sounded impatient but I was trying to see what you all were using so that I could get them on order for the weekend. Today I ordered the Hella Oval 100's, 12v, single beam. A little pricey at $41 ea, but they are suppose to be a very good quality light. I will not have them for the weekend. I will do all of my wiring and switch install and be waiting on them. I will post pictures after the install.

Lots of responses come over night, I agree it may take longer.

I have Peterson Manufacturing lights. I am going to use the Trapezoidal pointing forward and the floodlights to the rear. The link to these lights are Peterson Manufacturing Company

I have not had a chance to mount them yet. I bought some stake pockets from Tractor supply that will just nicely wrap around the ROPS. I had a couple of mild steel plated cut to go across the open end of the stake pocket and hold everything on. Here is a link to the stake pocket. Hopefully it will stop raining and I will get them mounted before winter. Tractor Supply Company - Truck Stake Pocket

Finally, I wanted a rugged waterproof switch to turn them on and off from the dashboard. I choose some Push-Pull switches from West Marine. West Marine: Switch - 2 Pos, Sealed Push-Pull Product Display
This style is almost impossible to break off like a toggle switch and easy to operate with gloves on. We used similar switches in the Arctic to turn on various lights and pumps.

Scott, good luck with the install. My lights will not be in until Monday or Tuesday. I am going to try and run all the wiring over the weekend. Where are you going to mount the relay?
