I looked at Kioti, Kubota, Mahindra, Massey, Deere, and Case (DX). I chose the New Holland because the Boomers have a good reputation, and honestly, nobody locally could touch Corriher Implements price on them. But after tediously looking at all of the brands, I must say that none of the brands made an inferior tractor. And lets face it, if there was really an inferior tractor, the maker would go out of business in a hurry. I think they are all good. I think each brand has its strong point of course. I personally think the engine layout and HST layout on the boomers is top notch, and I like the loader control. One thing that sticks in my mind too (as a sidenote), my second choice was going to be a Mahindra. The Mahindra's strong point was how heavy it is built. Looked like the heaviest built machine of them all.
