Not a bad deal at all. I've made a call on a M5-111 that is super low hours, but it's on hold, so probably already sold. I'll take a closer look at that m6, thanks.

[edit] Is that ad on facebook?
Yes, FB Market, Micanopy FLa

Here is another M6-111 at the Hastings FLa Kubota dealer, $65,900 @ 1350 hours. Large potatoe/cabbage farming area, so probably an off lease.

I see three potential outcomes in your future:

  1. You find your unicorn 🦄
  2. You buy something different than what you say you are holding out for 😏
  3. You wait and wait and wait 😴

I don't use facebook, but I have tried to join a few times just so I can use marketplace, but my account keeps getting canceled. Super frustrating. CL is all but dead.

FB Market is pretty much the go-to place for dealers to advertise anymore.

I've seen a few low hour M5-111's in the 50's on tractor house. That 2018 m6 that Paulsharvey posted for $52K with 6XX hours on it would be fine also. I would inquire after it, but I don't have facebook.

But are those prices too good to be true? If others are asking $10-20K more for the same tractor, then common sense would indicated they're being sold cheap for a reason.... From what you've said above, I'm guessing you think a low hour M5/6-111 under $60K is wishful thinking and/or I'll end up with a problem tractor that I'll regret buying?

So, the actual Ag machines are a different market then the homeowner style machines. With prices of commodities going down, retirement sales, off lease stuff, I dont doubt those prices.

North FLa, I've seen 2 Kubota M6-111, right at $60 and right below, 500-1350 hours, both with loaders, 3 sets of

remotes.

So, it might seem crazy, But; be it FB Market, Tractor House, or a distant dealers used machine; it very might be worth while to take a trio to SE US and see two or five in person. I would Not buy without seeing.

There was a "gentleman" on here a few months ago that bought sight unseen, to find the hour meter might not be working, and then he picked the machine Apart, every scratch, seat tear, down to left front mismatching right front tire. He felt screwed over, and I think he was expecting "certified pre-owned".

I'd I remember the resolution correctly, dealer agreed to take it back, but he ate like $8000 in shipping both ways.

Nope. You might get lucky, but I think it's more likely that you end up with a real nice tractor with more hours (3,000 or more). In my opinion, larger horsepower tractors don't have high hours until after 7,000 (4,000 for a CUT). I hope you find one with less than 500 hours in your price range.

There is a pretty good selection of low hour, 3-6 year old, Kubota, 4wd, loader machines. I'm just no expert on Kubotas to know which series are Power Shuttle, how many remotes they come standard with, which bucket attach system they use, ect.
