Whatcha buildin?
Dumb question. What is this used for? Some kind of drag? Logging applications? I have one I picked up in a scrap bin with I think 3 hooks. I figured at a minimum it would be useful for parts.
That reminded me of when I worked at the airport in the 80's and had a contract to load a C130 every night for some shady freight company. My boss leased a HUGE forklift, something like 30K lift. Way too big. Anyhow, contract ended and boss told me to driver the forklift down to a freight dock and drive it onto a semi trailer. Now I had ZERO experience with trucking at the time, but I looked at that trailer, and said, this is not meant for something of this size. It should be a low trailer meant for heavy equipment, not a high wooden deck trailer. He basically told me to shut up and drive it on. So I did. It crashed through the first set of planks and that was that. Half on the dock, half stuck through the trailer. I shut if off, pulled the key, climbed down and handed the keys to the boss and stood there looking at it with him.
He never did say anything else about it. It had to sit there for a week until they could get a crane large enough to lift it off.
