I do the same. Had a HUGE old elm taken out a couple of years ago, four large stems, 75 feet high. They used a bucket truck and had the whole thing down and hauled off in 2.5 hours. I'd still be working on it if I tried to do it myself.... Defintely have to pick your battles.Any dangerous tree work I hire a guy who lives a few miles away who has lots of equipment. The chipper will handle large trees and he has a bucket crane like this. It's not worth me saving $400-$500 plus I get a large pile of wood chips.View attachment 4279196
