Struck out getting hydro fluid at TSC today, shelves were bare. Guess it was a good sale. Did pickup 15 gal at my normal supplier. Filter due to arrive Friday, but tracking has it in Honolulu already so I’m hopeful for tomorrow. Wife says I have to get it off the conrete before trying to wash off the old oil. Hoping a spray down with Dawn solution then pressure wash.

Get ya some Simple Green HD degreaser David.

It's great on oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, even chain saw bar oil. Spray it on un-diluted, let it soak, hose it off.

Yes, definitely a lemon. Does Texas have a lemon law? Seems like you have had the same problems repaired multiple times. That definitely qualifies to lemon law criteria. Sometimes a brief letter From a lawyer explaining the situation, lights a fire under both the dealer and LS.... at least it will get their attention.

I mentioned that word to the dealer and they just laughed. I assume people throw that at them all the time. I do have a BBB case open with LS right now and will see where that goes.

Oh wonderful regen. Yeah, I am sure they all have their issues. My last new John Deere did not have it. Life before regen was great. I wonder if Kubota dealers and Kubota themselves push away customers like LS? I have owned 2 kubotas. Both older and loved them, but they were smaller machines. Eventually sold them both (for as much as I paid and had them for years).

I will be sticking with 80s to 90s equipment from now on. I can fix it myself and for much less. I have 2 JD 450c track machines and they run like tanks. Change oils and add gas. Love those tractors.

There have been threads on this board detailing where both shades of orange (as well as a few other colors) have done so, yes. This entire forum is neither a love or hate fest for any color. They all have problems and their devoted followers. It's simply a dose of reality for users.

I know who the dealer is, but I was trying to keep them hidden for now while I try to get LS to do what they need to do. Are you saying you can figure it out? I am in central Texas, so its no hard to find out really.

Uh .. my post was NOT directed to YOU. I didn't quote YOU .. did I?

I have owned John Deere, Kubota, International, New Holland, Ford, Case and LS. New though, only John Deere and LS. My John Deere never gave me 1 issue, so I never had to test their warranty, dealers or corporate. My LS on the other hand has been a nightmare and a test of warranty, parts, dealers and corporate. So far all have failed.

I guess this could have been any brand, but I have a New Holland dealer just 10 miles from me and I am in there a decent amount for "LS" parts and maintenance items for my other 2 New Holland tractors. I never have parts issues. Next day its there, simple as that. The service guys are nice and seem to know their stuff and the place has like 20 bays for service. I see the same people every time I go. I have a feeling if this tractor was New Holland stickers and not LS ones, I would not have all of these ongoing issues.

But, its a guess. I will probably just have to suck up the $15k loss and get rid of it. That's like paying $5k each time I mowed my grass successfully.

I misread it, SORRY! I see you are close with the owner based on your posts. I must have hit a nerve.
