Today Plowed my yard for the first time this winter, guess we got 3-4 inches.
Changed engine oil and filter, everything went pretty well. Currently 407 hours on my LS XR4155

Plowed my yard for the third time this winter, we got about 4 inches of new snow last night, so far it’s been a pretty mild winter.

We've been low on snow in Maine as well, though it has certainly been cold.

I plowed once in early November when we received 18”. Since then every one of the snows have been less than 5” and not worth plowing. And not too many of them. 28” is all we have received this winter.

We ought to get a solid storm tomorrow, but it's been such an odd winter; last year it raged, this year, it's just very cold and dry.

Someone's been sleeping in my seat.

Betty's been sitting in the shed for weeks now. Nothing for her to do. I crank her up once in a while just to get her motor running and give her that warming feeling.

But I've been noticing muddy paw prints in her seat. Most likely a cat I guess, but I've never seen it.

Kinda hate to buy a trail cam just for that.

Having a bunch of semi feral cats around here. Easiest for me was to learn and remember to tip the seat forward when I park the tractors, mowers, etc. Cheap and effective.

I don't really care about that part. Even thinking of leaving some food out there if it'll help keep the meeses away.

My luck the meeses will feed on the cat food.

I know the skunks and raccoons and opossums would.

I've got a feral cat that occasionally leaves some nice prints on my seat as well, lol. I don't mind, because as you said, they keep the mice at bay!

I just chuckle when I see the prints and wipe them off with a shop towel.

In our case we haven't put out food, as with you we didn't want to attract potential pests. If your place is anything like here, the cat will appreciate the shelter and pay rent by dining on rodents.
