What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

I'm in the concrete business in Michigan, just curious how much a yard of exterior concrete costs in Hawaii?

Hey you have more choices than me only one place thats over 1hr away to get premixed concrete here so basically have to self mix or be really fast if doing anything finished lol

NO maintenance scheduled between 50 and 250 hours?

Is that true for the bigger models also?

Mine is also 50 and 250 but thats within common sense with equipment that if its being used really hard or you see that your oil or hydraulic fluid is getting overheated then you change it even before regular service times!

50 and 300 hours on XR4100, but Daily checks as well.
I think we have to apply a bit of common sense as well, but modern fluids likely a factor.

Haven稚 a price yet, but in Jan I paid $175 cy. Expect this will be close, not that I really have a choice, only 2 plants in town.

Years ago when we did the pool and driveway, we got $125/cy, but that was a big project.

This is a small project, about 6 cy so not so straightforward as they cover transport etc.

Ours is cash with George and his masons. The concrete itself or if I have to get more rebar or wire mesh is between me and suppliers and CC.

George and his guys have done all our concrete since 2004. Never formally added it up, but likely over 700 cy. I know George has told friends who asked that we have more than anybody he has poured. I think George is 86 or 87 this year.

I used a 6 footer on my 125 w/o any problems. Tore through some tough tall field grass, definitely was dry though. It took pretty much full throttle, but didn't lag. It was a "King cutter" made by tartar.

Will depend on your land if flat and keep on it 6ft will be fine if you have grade elevation to climb and thick brush stick to 5ft slso depending on cost difference between 5 and 6 because a 6 ft wont be much fast than a 5ft on the per acre time to cut it!

A special day for my LS, got to transport concrete. 4 trips, about 1/2 cy left over from our pour today.
I say special, because if memory serves, both my Kioti and my Case moved concrete only 1 time each while I had them.


Once done, able to get back to normal stuff, brushhogging a few hours.
