Spread some gravel at the home building site! Waiting on more loads and some rain to finish smoothing it out.

I got a few more hours harvesting rocks. My piles are growing.

RSR, they would make a great landscape project. A lot of good rock north of me. But all I have is softrock, most breaks when you dig it.

I've never met a rock I didn't like. Problem is that I have to haul them home. I have dug up very few rocks on my clay infested property.

I have the opposite feeling,I really dislike the danged things.
All they are good for is breaking equipment.

Wife's folks said the same thing. "If rocks were a Crop, we could feed the World". They had a big farm in Pulaski.

My house is on top of a gravel hill. There may be more value here as a quarry than a homesite.

Yeah, that's what they will be used for. I dug them up while moving a hill behind the garage back (before and after pictures below). The piles of rock are what I took out of that space I dug out. It's about 25 ft deep into the hill, by 35 feet long across the face of it.

The rocks will be used for a retaining wall across it. The dirt will level out the lower part of my lawn (just a hill) with another retaining wall at the bottom. If I run out of rocks, I have thousands more in the woods, just sitting there.

All of our flower beds, etc. use rocks as well.
