I moved furniture.

We purchased new Dining room and living room furniture, so the old stuff needed to go. Living room went to my outbuilding, and dining room went to the curb. Grabbed the pallet forks and away they went. Life is easy when you have the tools.

I put my 5035 in four wheel drive so I could go up the drive in the snow and unload a pallet from a semi. Came back and put the pallet containing my new 35" Gentec excavator thumb into the toasty barn...

used the 2555 with pallet forks to lift the pickup truck up and take the tires off. nice not having to screw around with a jack on gravel.

Unloaded a 1000# pallet of fertilizer off my pickup with my bucket forks, and then spread 20 bags on my 10 acres with my broadcast spreader. Only took about 90 minutes.
Then I went inside and watched the Masters.

Bought a used 6 ft douglas finish mower a couple weeks ago, put it on yesterday went over to my daughters and started mowing their 6 acres.I had put it on the 2810 and it cut pretty well. one problem is the height adj doesnt allow you to raise it much, my 6 ft big bee was the same way. it would scalp the ground, i finally welded a couple inches of shaft on the wheel fork assembly . Works much better now. Has anyone else had this problem. I also dug out a stump i have been mowing around for yrs. This morning it snowed.

Last week I bought a 55 gal boom sprayer for my 10 acres.

Winds finally died down yesterday, so I got to pull her out and put weed killer on all 10 acres. The sprayer worked fine. Now...we'll see if the chemicals work as well. One small piece of good news...today about 24 hours later, it appears as though some of the weeds are starting to wilt. Sure hope that's the case.

Will have to do another chemical application specific to crab grass. But can't do that until about a month after my over seeding takes hold. So I'll have to live with the crab grass for now.

As fast as everything is growing now, I'll have to mow again next week.

Butt time!!
