What did you do to or on your Mahindra today?

Unloaded my new 6' wide aerator-plugger off my truck and cleared a space for it the tool barn. Hope to use it this weekend if it dries out a little.

Did my late fall 0lowing of the garden spot, maybe I will get some lime to add to it for the winter and disc that in tomorrow.

I finally got the rest of the better pine bucked up and brought over to the splitting pile, four loads. I then brought two more loads of pine branches with the pallet forks over to the fireplace for burning.

Before that Dave from the Wood Chop Shop came over to install a inline orifice/restrictor in the hose coming out of the radiator (it makes the 4540 run warmer), it did the trick. When he was here I changed the fuel filter which went well.

Nothing here. Power loss every time I try to do anything with my Mahindra 3550. They came today and tried to fix it and couldn't. Back to the shop it goes. Again. I have managed to put 260 hours on it in the days I've been able to do work with it since February. Divide that by 8 hours in a full day and you get 32.5 days of work. I have counted the lost days, between 32-33 days of tractor work while waiting for them to fix the multiple problems I have had with my tractor. That's right at 50%. And apparently there is nothing they are going to do about it. Except fix it. Again. Winter is setting in and ground work season is almost over for my trail projects.

Before the rains came I moved two more loads of pine chips and then moved this cable off the forest floor.

Added a drain valve to the coolant shunt line to make coolant changes easier and added (2) tow hooks to the front of the frame.

I used the 4540 with the pallet forks for some lifting so the bucking was easier. The bigger tree is a cherry and the smaller one is a maple.

I used the 4540 to move some chips on the trail near the brook a couple of days ago.

Got my (first) tractor last week. Used it yesterday and today to pull some felled trees to the wood pile. No more dulling out my chainsaw on the ground!

I finished welding and painting my carry all frame as well as my toolbox idea I had for my 3016
