I bought a box of bright red, orange and yellow zirk covers so they stand out and are easy to locate when I'm ready to grease. I've lost a couple while working, but for the most part they've stayed on.

I am...not bc I'm loyal to it, just bought a lot from the dealer when I got the tractor. Once that supply is out,I'll probably use something from RK or TSC.

I use Permalube heavy duty multipurpose, and lucas the green heavy duty and red tack. That's because I have cases of each. As long as you grease it when it needs greased, I don't think it matters much as long as it is a good grease. But what is a bad grease? My brother is a mechanic and works on equipment and he always say's just use grease it doesn't matter what brand just what is recommended for the thing being greased.

Grease must be a fairly recent addition to their lineup. When I purchased my tractor, they had just started labeling their own hydraulic fluid and that was all they offered.
That being said, I use "Texas Red" (I think that is the name) on high speed parts such as PTO shaft universal joints. On loader/hoe pins and similar high pressure parts, I use the Tractor Supply Traveller brand black heavy duty high pressure moly grease.

We cleaned up some dead trees and stumps we had pulled, stacked them on a burn pile and box bladed the stump holes.

@mad Mac, been there done that. Lol. I used my 4540 to clean up where I had some guys grind 30 stumps. So I used the bucket to fill in the holes and smooth out the dirt.

Finally located some boulders that were close and a good price: FREE.
Picked two of the four that could be picked up. The one above is the larger of the two, but not by much. I figured about 1100lbs and needed extra balast to keep the rear wheels on the ground. The smaller one was just under 1000lbs and was handeled but the extra balast made it safer. The two remaining boulders are still there. Although I can drag them I think they top a ton a piece. No way I can get them into a trailer.
Put them at the end of a driveway for "Protection". The mail box was taken out twice. I told the owner that this would not protect the mailbox but keep the car from driving away.
