It followed me home
Wow man! When I seen the picture I figured you bought the used one. Let us know how well it does compared to the 1430. That is awesome.

Are they keeping busy down at Tazewell? I tried to wanted to buy a power dumper, but Kristie said they did not have any made and many were off work because of COVID issues.

Thanks, I put 1.5 hours on it and already bent the grapple fork trying to pickup a big stump. Oh well, doesn't look to hard to straighten. Over a year with the 1430 and never bent it.
They seem busy as usual. I called about a month ago (wanted to look at the used one and a new one) and they didn't have any 1460 tractors and were tooling up to make them. Considering the hours and wear I went new. You only live once and I just sold my L2250 Kubota, so had the money to put on top of the used one.
So far it seems quieter and much smoother with the 4 cyl engine.

I only got a PT grapple bucket and a blank plate with it, so I spent the day fabricating a PT to Bobcat quick attach adapter to use all my attachments that don't bend.
I had a real heavy 3 pt hitch to SSQA adapter that I cut up and welded the PT plate to.
Will try it out tomorrow if I get time.

Sweet adapter plate.

You must feel like Superman with all the extra power.

All the best, Peter

Yes, with great power comes great responsibility not to break stuff.

Stuff bears great responsibility for 'moving it or losing it' .

I am mulling that used 1460. It would be a solid addition. Jealous on your purchase.

When you are jealous of me having it, just think of the checkbook and you will feel better.
The little I got to see of the used one (operation) it seemed ok. Tires were about 60-70%.They repainted it (red/black, not wheels) and now even the bucket. The old pic of the bucket made me think the whole thing looked like that and I didn't want to be taken in by a pretty paint job. For a working 2nd machine I would think it would be fine once you change the timing belt. I asked Terry if it can be done without taking the engine out and he wasn't sure. The Deutz 1011 needs the belt at 3k, the new 2011 needs engine needs it at 6k, according to Terry.
I haven't use mine enough to comment but I have a hill going to the upper part of a 2 story barn and most 2 wheel drive pickups just about can't make it up. The 1460 climbed it at 1/4 to 1/3 throttle without even bogging down. It felt powerful.

It’s interesting how the 1460 does better driving up hills .That surprised me about my 1430; it doesn’t do well going up steep hills.

That 1460 would’ve been nice this winter because we had lots of snow. I was somewhere close to 18 hours of plowing snow this winter, and when those snows are deep I always wish the machine was bigger.

welding that quick attach plate to the skid loader quick attach is a good idea with a machine that size. Now your skid loader attachments are probably compatible for your 1460? Right?
