Ok, so it doesn't sound like it's strictly off-topic, but you'll see why in a sec.
How about telling us what you like least about your tractor, either seriously or tongue-in-cheek.
Card-carrying, die-hard brand fanatics please beat the drum championing your color somewhere else - the question is what do you not like about your tractor. If you love everything about it, you can't answer the question, right? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Also, the question is about your tractor, not somebody else's, not about why you didn't buy another brand. I repeat: This is not to start a flame war, or a brand-bashing session. If all of the tractors owned by members of this board didn't have advantages, we'd all own the same one, wouldn't we? Or at least 99% of us would... So, no color insults here, please, unless the color itself is what you like least about your tractor, of course. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif (As a matter of fact, I would rather my tractor were green than orange, but that's an item for a later post in this thread.) On a related note - if anyone asks me why I bought my Kubota, when I like green (the color) better, I'll start another thread in this section of the forum, just to keep this off-topic discussion on-topic (i.e. about what I don't like about my tractor, not what I do like.)
I'll start. I have, as everyone knows by now, a Kubota L4310HST. It's my fourth Kubota, the last three acquired via up-sizing. (My motto: You can never have too much power. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif) Though I'll probably add some other things later, the first and foremost thing I hate about my Kubota is: (drum roll please...)
The lack of history and nostalgia. This won't come as a surprise to the forum "old-timers", because I've said this before. But, even though it has no bearing on the day-to-day use and functionality of the tractor, it sure would be nice to be able to rummage through fireside books on a cold evening, literally by the fireside, with a glass of single malt scotch, (or your favorite winter evening beverage). Truth be known, I do it anyway with some John Deere and other non-brand-specific history books I have, but I miss not having any Kubotas in them.
That's not the only thing I don't like about it - one at a time - but it's the one I think of most often.
