If I was in the market for a trailer to haul a tractor I'd be looking for one without a dovetail and at least 20 feet long. Minimum 5000# axles, brakes on both axles, NEW tires, break away brakes, D rings, and a frame more substantial than 5" channel.
That trailer MIGHT barely meet your needs, but IMO something hauling a load as heavy as your tractor should be bigger and heavier duty.

you don't like DT / BT?

Nope. I'd rather have the extra 2' as usable trailer deck and use longer ramps. And yes, I'm aware how heavy those longer ramps can be.;)
I use my trailers for more than hauling tractors so the DT would just be wasted for those uses.

i guess it really does depend on application.. as with tractors.. I have no problem using 4-5' of DT for tires to rest on.. or mowers.. ;)

If you stop and think about the weights 1000 for loader, 3500 tractor and 1000 6' bushhog and don't for get trailer weight (2500) and you have hit the 10000 gvw fast. I have a 10k gvw 20' long and I am going to purchase a 22-24' tilt bed with 12 to 15K gvw. My dk50 Kioti with loader, grappler, and 6' bushhog hangs 2' off the 20'. And weight has got to close to max. Buy the proper thing for the future, might save you a second purchase doing it right the first time. A premium trailer should have brakes, brakeaway kit, good tires etc the sub-primes are where you get the sub parts.

I agree. No more DT trailers for me. I like my flat deck and slide in ramps.

I have a similar trailer, but with ramps that slide in under the back, and a 2 5/16 ball. I think it would work for what you are planning just fine. Everyone wants you to "upgrade" but its your money. If its a trailer you use often, I would upgrade, but if your like me, and only use it on occasion, it would be fine.

This is how I arrived in Virginia. My Saturn did a good job towing until I got to the fully mudded out road. suprise. Observation 1) The trailer is too short at 16 feet. With the bush hog and loader it hangs over about 18".
Observation 2) The single axle brakes were fine.
Observation 3) Since I was on the tractor I couldn't see this but an observer reported that the rear half of the trailer would BEND downward about 4" as the tractor was being loaded......not good.
As someone mentioned it might be better to get a stronger FRAME. I have since used bottle jacks at each rear corner to prevent this bending during loading /unloading.

A longer trailer alows you to move equiptment back and forth to adjust tongue weight. After you own a trailer, you will find many uses for it. A longer decktrailer will pull and manuver better when backing.
