Re: What does \"quality\" mean?
Seems to me we might have some confusion between 2 different brands.
Farmtrac
- and -
Farm Trak
At 10K, I would also bet the Farm Trak is Chinese, and not affiliated with Farmtrac. Several of the Farmtrac models (but not all) are made in Korea and parallel the Montana tractors (virutally the same machines, different paint).

As for "WHAT DOES QUALITY MEAN?" in my opinion it is going to be:
Something that is well designed, well engineered, well put together of superior materials that delivers superior performance & reliability for what it is designed to do.
I tend to think that customer satisfaction has NOTHING to do with quality. I could buy the best made "finish" hammer on the planet and use it for "framing" a house and it will perform badly and I will not be satisfied, however, for its intended purpose, it may provide superior performance and reliability. Consequently I will respectfully disagree with folks who suggest that meeting or exceeding customer expectations has anything to do with the quality of the goods purchased.
