To me it means that I was posting when I should have been sleeping. 😁
However...
It means that if as a young boy you volunteer to help an old man with flat tire on a pre 1975 Chrysler the lug nuts are right hand thread on one side and left hand thread on the other side and you are going to shear off a stud in your ignorance of this fact.
My first fall out of high school a friend and I went bird hunting. It was about two hours before dark when we came across a man and his young son with a flat tire on an early '70s square cab Chevrolet pickup. The man had leg braces so we stopped to help. Using the factory jack we raised the truck, took the tire off- and discovered that the jack didn't go up high enough to put the spare on. We then tried to put the flat on...but it had expanded to it's original size. Luckily it was on a gravel road so we were able to dig down a few inches to get the tire on. He then told us of a nearby cornfield with apple trees adjacent which gave us some good shooting. 👍

I even hear it at my local auto shop when they tell people how to do some simple task that they don't have time for.
That's what I'm referring to. It's for folks that don't know what they're doing. You don't want those people working on your vehicle or tractor. Because, for sure, they don't have any idea of torque specs. I've seen some fumble through metric and SAE sockets looking for one that fits a fastener. It may not be the right one, but it fits. 🤣

I can mechanic, but never claimed to be a "mechanic"!

I've twisted a few nuts...but sometimes, just sometimes, like when I'm laying on my back under a vehicle with my hand twisted up into some hole and I can only feel the very end of a ratchet on a nut I'm trying to remove...

I have to stop and think about the direction for applying pressure by visualizing twisting the top off a peanut butter jar. It's always a peanut butter jar that comes to mind, maybe because I've been doing that since the age of 6 or 7!

This is 1991, working as a poured basement wall crane operator. Only been there for few months, one of the owners was

out and changing the fuel filters on the truck/carrier. Looking towards the front from the middle of the truck, cab on the left,

very narrow, next engine compartment and a open area same width as the cab. When driving on the road the boom is over

the engine compartment sitting in a cradle. He has the hood open on the top and the side and is laying on his back next to

the engine. He's grunting trying to remove the fuel filter and says how hard it was, I tell him he's turning it the wrong way,

this happens a couple more times and tell him he's turning it the wrong way. Finally he turns it correctly and it comes off and

he says, f'ing crane operators think they know everything. I said no, you were turning it the wrong way. He didn't get mad

at me, he had a hell of a temper, but would cool down fast.

This guy was a unique boss, worth many millions yet he would go out and get his hands dirty. Found out later that he had

dyslexia, now were both retired, he lives in Florida and were friends and talk on the phone often.

Here's one of the cranes I operated, CCC truck/carrier, P&H 215 crane, 50' boom, 30' jib, with a dragline.

Don't be a tool? What does that mean?
I'm asking tradosaurus, not you others
Because it sounds like name calling to me.
What's your problem? Same as you have on other forums like Apollo?

Don’t BELIEVE everything you read or hear from mainstream media or science.

Apollo forum is a cult.

Well it looks like I was wrong. I don't see this thread going 5-6 pages as it stands.

Scootr--We are past Bigtiller's guess pf 3 pages (although 10 posts per page not 40) and 1/3 of the way to his aggregate of 120.
Jstpssng--Do your testing rules require you to deduct your own and Scootr's posts?
