Is from generator with a burnt stator, suppose is a Chinese clone but it isn't a GX clone or is it a very old GX?, any idea?

Looks like a Yamaha after some searching

It could be about anything. The starter looks Robin ish. Mitsubishi? One thing to put out there is that this unit may very well have a tapered crankshaft which can change thee game if you are looking to repurpose the engine.

The Chinese don't like this, had a hope that it would be possible to buy the parts to use it as a standalone engine but the parts are to expensive.

Looks exactly like the engine on my 7 KW generator.
Genuine clone engine, LOL.
So far mine has been very reliable and saved all my foods for some 8 years now.
We enjoy (?) some 5-7 power outages per year.

Is the shaft tapered? AKA can U repurpose it? (often gensets use tapered shafts)
As crude as it sounds, you can fire up the engine and carefully file away that tapered end to a usable diameter.**
Otherwise dismantling and taking the crankshaft to a machine shop is the proper way to go.

** poor man's lathe, LOL.

Seems to expensive to do anything with it, had it been a GX clone eBay would had everything I needed, must try to find a set with a working generator and defective engine.
