I would like my towing mirrors to go out 2" further. They are close, just not quite enough.
2011 Chevy 2500 6.0 gas motor. I can't complain about anything on the truck except the poor fuel mileage, I'm probably getting around 13 mpg or a little worse.
They just keep making the noses on pickups bigger and bigger. Interesting, semi truck noses are becoming more sloped and pickup trucks are getting bigger. Not a terrible thing going down the road, but a PITA if working in tight areas, construction sites, farm and ranch, etc. My 1998 Chevy 2500 was more pleasurable in this regard than my current 2015 2500. And the former had a 454 big block whereas this one has a little 6.0L gasser.
The thing I hate the most about my 16 GMC Denali is the temperature gauge. As in the ambient temp. It has some code built in where it won't register an increase in temperature unless you go over 20mph for five minutes or something like that. This is done so it doesn't register radiated heat from the truck when sitting still I guess. I work in the oilfield and my truck is on from 5am until 5pm most days and during that time I may never get over 20mph due to idling on location and driving around on the rough roads.
I couldn't care less about what temperature it displays on the dash but it registers a low temp in the morning when it is cool and then keeps that temp all day and it affects the AC operation. The AC won't work as good when it is 100 degrees in the afternoon because the truck thinks it is 65 from in the morning. On the older ones there was a combination of buttons you could press to force a reset but neither me nor my dealer can figure one out on this one.
