What flashight do you recommend?

I've found this one to be handier than a head lamp. They are on sale most of the time for $1.49 but I found some slightly shorter and aluminum recently for $0.99. As soon as I find time to velcro it, it will take this ones place. I don't have any idea what lumen etc. but it has 9 led bulbs and 3 AAA. Sure helps my old eyes look back into dark corners and cabinets and places like that.

That reminds me...I've been thinking of getting one of those LED clip on lights for my hat. Are some better than others or does anyone have a particular brand or style that they like?

Sixdogs...this isn't exactly what your asking about (clip on light) but my buddy that runs a motorcycle shop swears by this headlamp. He says he tried several and this is the one he was most satisfied with.

I got around to getting back to shop today so I made it a point to ask about it and of to see it in use first hand as we had to do a strip out and upgrade on the entire charging system of late 70's R100rs BMW today. Tough spot at the front of the engine, behind the forks and in between the fairing lowers. It gave a good bright focused light.

Lately I'm also starting to lean towards using this type of stuff myself...its like no matter what stand alone light your using it just seems like its never focused right where your looking!
