2010 F-150 4x4, 4-door, 5.4 Litre.
If I drive it sensibly on highway type venture (55 mph, no jab gassing), I can get 23+ mpg out of it as reported by the trip computer. Short trip driving "around town" (a hilly town at that), it drops considerably.....summer time=15-16.....winter time=14=15. Compared to the 2000 Dodge Dakota, 4.7 Litre I had prior to the Ford.....I am real pleased with what the Ford is doing.......the Dakota was a gas hog for whatever reason.
I have a friend that has a 2003 Lincoln Navigator.....complained about the terrible gas mileage it was getting. He just recently was in need for new tires for it....I did some on-line tire shopping for him. Found that the tires that were on the vehicle were oversized....considering the hilly area we live in, I convinced him that he should put the correct size tires on it with fuel mileage in mind. So far....he thinks it was a favorable move.
